CALL FOR 2026-2027 BOARD APPLICATIONS - SUBMIT BY 4/30
The Hoboken Ski & Snowboard Club (HSSC) Board is run by volunteers who help keep the club running smoothly—from setting policies and organizing non-ski events to, most importantly, planning amazing trips! The Board plays a vital role in shaping the club’s culture, ensuring safe and enjoyable experiences for members, and maintaining the strong community that makes HSSC unique.
We’re looking for some new board members for the 2026-27 season. If you’re a member in good standing (2025-26 season) and have an interest in serving, please review our new HSSC Potential Candidate Information Packet - Board. There, you will find information about Board positions, minimum requirements, service commitments, and the application process.
Our Board positions include:
President (2 year term)*
Vice President/Secretary (1 year term)
Treasurer (2 year term)*
Ski Trip Coordinators (2) (staggered 2 year terms)
Non-Ski Coordinator (1 year term)
Marketing & Communications Leads (2) (1 year term)
Webmaster (1 year term)*
*Candidates for these roles will be subject to a criminal and / or credit background check.
Prospective candidates must attend a mandatory Q&A session on April 15 (at our in-person club meeting) OR on April 20 (virtually). Applications will be due on April 30. We have a submit an application this year, so please read carefully when applying.
Qualified candidates will be included in an online election by HSSC’s membership in May. Results will be communicated in late May with service terms beginning on June 1.
