Join the Hoboken Ski & Snowboard Club for hike on the Stairway to Heaven Trail in the Northern New Jersey Highlands – Saturday June 21st

This is 2.8 mile out-and-back trail, considered moderately challenging. It takes 1 h 44 minutes to complete. Dogs are welcome on the hike, but not allowed at the Apres spot. Sorry! The route begins as a steep climb, following the Appalachian Trail. There is an amazing payoff at the top with the view!

Bring water, snacks, and sturdy footwear.

There is no cost, but RSVP using the event so we can get a headcount and add your contact info for updates.

Timing: Meet at 10 AM. We’ll start heading towards the trail at 10:10AM. Bring water, snacks and sturdy footwear.

Parking:
There is a small dirt lot on right with room for 5 or 6 cars at the trailhead. Just past this is room for several more cars along the road, followed by another larger dirt lot near a hotdog stand. If full, the nearby farm offers parking for a fee.


Apres Hike:
Relax and unwind after your hike at Pennings Farm Cidery! We’ll meet after the hike (around 1pm). In addition to cider there will be wine, food, and homemade ice cream. We recommend bringing blankets and folding chairs in case tables are full.
